🔅 Hiện chưa có thuốc nào được FDA chấp thuận hoặc thậm chí khuyến cáo để điều trị chủng coronavirus mới (COVID-19). Bất kỳ tác nhân nào đang được sử dụng tại thời điểm này đều được quản lý trong môi trường thử nghiệm, với các điều kiện được kiểm soát chặt chẽ.

✅ Vào tháng 2/2020, WHO đã công bố tổng quan về các ứng cử viên trị liệu tiềm năng trong điều trị COVID-19. Tài liệu 36 trang đề xuất 76 chế độ để điều trị cho bệnh nhân bị nhiễm virus (tính đến 17/02/2020).
• 38 trong số các ứng cử viên này đang ở trạng thái tiền lâm sàng, với thông tin tối thiểu bao gồm cơ chế, công dụng, đường dùng và các thử nghiệm được dự kiến.
• 16 chế độ là chế phẩm có chứa interferon
• Các chế độ khác bao gồm các kháng sinh, corticosteroid, huyết tương lấy từ người đã hồi phục (convalescent plasma) và chế phẩm sinh học (biologics).

Các thử nghiệm lâm sàng của một số chế phẩm khác không được liệt kê trong tài liệu của WHO được đăng trên ClinicalTrials.gov và chính phủ Trung Quốc cũng đã đưa ra một số phiên bản hướng dẫn về phòng ngừa, chẩn đoán và điều trị virus bao gồm các khuyến nghị cụ thể về thuốc.
